Brion watched the exchange knowing Zarayah could handle it so he didn't move into help. Once the bandit was down Brion lifted the buster blade onto his shoulder as he looked at the bandit Zarayah took out. After a few moments he simply moved out of the tent deciding there was no reason to kill him yet, as the leader seemed to be the kind of guy that would punish someone who got there asses kicked by two maidens, and let them escape. Looking up at the left to were a mountain laid Brion scanned it for a bit as he kind of hoped the hooded figure would appear as well, since he was last seen near here. However he didn't so he moved to go find Shao Kahn. "Should we make a move now, or send in a army?" He asked silently so only his advisor would hear. There was certainly a lot more bandits than he had assumed there to be. Looking around once more he saw Shao exiting his tent, and heading somewhere. "Or we could attack now." He added to his last statement though he wasn't sure he, and a mage could kill this many bandits, especially with one of them being Shao Khan.
(We can just skip, and say Zarayah, and Brion left deciding it'd be best to send a army. xD If your okay with Skipping I can do a few starters, if not I'll add another character xD)
(Alright so see yea Friday, or Saturday xD )

(I'm going to Alistair more, cause yea xD Also changing his look x3 I think the only why you could reply to this Alistair, is to make a new character since I'm having him do a mission xD Maybe Alistair's apprentice? xD )
(I'mma skip a few weeks~)
Smoke, screams, and fire burning the villages was all that could be seen from were a dark haired male with a cold stare as he wore a black robe his snake eyes showing pure darkness. During his time away from the castle Alistair had changed himself so not to be recognized, and he preferred a darker look. His old paper white short hair, was now a raven black with a ponytail giving a samurai kind of look. He also grew out some facial hair so he did look so much like a weakling. His eyes were the only thing that still screamed Alistair Monta. A woman soon came running from the village, and grabbed the mage looking at him with tears in her eyes. "Sir, my father.... He's still in the-" She began until a cold hand was placed around her face, and then a burning sensation came, and she fall down the spell having removed her skin on the front of her face so only a skull was there. Alistair turned his back to the village now showing no emotion on his actions, though if he was to show something it would be a smile. Walking he opened his robe, which he had normal clothes under it, and pulled out crystal as he reached the top of a mountain that overlooked the burning village. "Begone, peasants of Vulci." He let out, and then smashed the crystal, and in doing so shards impaled his hand causing a stream of red to fall. "And, come my servants." He called moving his hand quickly to the side so blood would fling toward the village. This was a blood spell that made dead corpses become demons, not like Alistair's dad the demon, but like monsters. Moving back down he saw once again a peasant running this one was a small child who spotted the dark stranger, and unlike the girl began to flee. However Alistair used a spell, and had the boy in hands as he moved in front of the child. "My first creature." He decided, and with loud scream the boy began to shift into something, and moments later the human child was a Chimera of legend. Finally as the demons, and the chimera began to move Alistair used a spell to trap them til he wished to call upon them again. Then he made his way to where he could have a messenger deliver a message, and (if you don't wanna rp his apprentice ignore the last part) a young mage he had decided would stand with him in the age of demons.
Orophine, and his crew were in a small island village for the past few days, and at the moment the pirate captain was raising his sword to block a strike from a soldier. "Your mother has been looking for you Orophine!" The big man spoke as they neared Valm the islands were more Elf run liked this soldier with pointy years attacking Orophine. "She isn't pleased with your current job." He growled kicking the captain when he wasn't expecting sending him into a wall. "Your family misses you so come pea-" The guy began, but the captain soon spoke. "Dammit, that's where we're headed anyways." Orophine sighed standing up putting his sword away when the guy seemed to be fine with that. With a quick command to hurry for Valm was a mere day ride from now Orophine sighed, and headed to the ship after having a crew member pass the word it was time. Getting on the ship it only took a few seconds for Ayita to arrive with a sigh on her face. "....More sea travel...." Ayita sighed the spell Varaela used helped, but she still prefered ground, and soon the wolf princess quickly headed to her room so she could be prepared to be sick for one more day til finally they would reach the land of elves. Laughing Orophine moved up to the deck. "I hope you don't have to speak with my family, because I can tell you my mother will be pissed like always when she sees her son." He laughed his mother disliked his barbarian ways, and how he hung with humans.
Ace was inside a room with one of his greatest catches ever. The King's lover herself, it had taken a lot of work, but he had the girl in the dungeon at the moment tied up, and better yet the king had no clue. Placing a hand on the girl's forehead he laughed. "With you, and Damien the king will surely wish for me to make him a Witcher." He laughed as he finished his spell which would make Mia pretty much his slave til Alistair returned, and found out what had happened. It had taken a lot of work to get this girl drugged, and tied up without her noticing since Mia was easily a better mage. Finishing his spell he released her. "Act like normal Mia, but talk the king into accepting my offer. Alistair, and you can't do it for if people close to him do it he'll die quickly." He told the slave Mia the lie, and watched as she nodded, and moved out of the way. Ace had changed quite a bit in the past few weeks he had stopped seeking out Vivian, and hadn't talked to Ariella much either has the man who had no real dream finally decided to enter the game of thrones, as the peasants called it. Moving out of the dungeon after Mia was long gone so people wouldn't suspect he entered the hallway, and began heading to his room to get working on his second plan, in case Drezdon fully denied his offer, he would use Brion of Vulci as his witcher.
(See ya Thursday than maybe xD)

(Just out of curiosity before I start working on a reply, how realistic is it that Ace will actually really care about Vivian? Like, is it more likely she'll just sorta be there in the back of his mind, and sure he thinks she's pretty and all, but she's just sorta there or is it more likely they'll be in it together as in Ace is like "you'll be my queen when I become king" or whatever he's after? Or something else? (If that doesn't make sense let me know and I'll try to explain better.) I'm just trying to make some decisions regarding Vivian's character.)
(Oh and I'm totally going to rp Alistair's apprentice xD)

(Hope you had fun at the movie! I may not be here when you get back. I was up until 2 again finishing that stupid lab report, so I'm quite tired.)
(OK so he doesn’t have a name yet, so just call him apprentice or whatever until I come up with one xD) The young man/boy (idk how old you want him to be) knelt as Alistair approached him. He wore a black hooded cloak that left his face in shadow. When he stood, however, he removed the hood revealing light brown, somewhat long hair and a scarred face. From the left, he would look fairly normal, just a few long scars visible on his face. The right side of his face was in much worse condition. He still had his right eye, but the area around it was a bit deformed, red, and raw with a burned look. To top it off, his eyes were an unnatural pale blue (may change). “Congratulations, Master,” the boy said in a quiet voice as he looked around at the ruined village.
In contrast to Ayita, Varaela had taken quite well to life on the ship. In fact, while most of the crew had been on land in the island village, Varaela had spent most of the time on the ship. Part of that was because she knew humans were not wanted and disliked this close to Valm, but it was also just because she really liked being on the ship. At the moment she was walking along the topmost yard on the main mast, arms out to the side to help with balance. She eventually reached the end of the yard, made sure she was balanced, and then leaned over and looked down at the deck far below and grinned. After a moment she looked up and saw Orophine and the others heading back to the ship. Looking around Varaela grabbed one of the ropes holding the sails and began to slide down to the deck, switching ropes whenever one ran out. Fortunately the canvas she’d wrapped around her palms kept her from getting some nasty rope burns. Eventually she landed on the deck near Orophine. “I take it we’ll be continuing toward Valm then?” she asked, though was fairly certain she knew the answer.
Vivian had made some adjustments to her life since the whole episode with Damien and Ace. She had made a point not to see Ace ever since and only saw Damien in passing and she usually just completely ignored him when that happened. She’d continued her little side jobs, but she made the conscious decision to stop using sex to catch her targets unaware. Ironically enough, that decision had made the jobs more entertaining and, in fact, she hadn’t been with anyone since the almost-time with Damien. That being said, she still dressed and acted more or less the same as she had before. Today she was just working in the castle and had just finished cleaning up the princess’ room. On her way back to her room, she rounded a corner and nearly bumped into Ace, but she just looked up at him, said, “excuse me,” stepped aside and continued on her way. If he wanted to talk to her, he’d have to initiate the conversation himself. (I wasn’t sure if you wanted them to talk or not, so I just did this. Feel free to ignore it.)
Drezdon paced in his room as he thought. Lately Damien had been encouraging him to seriously consider letting Ace turn him into a witcher. He really did like the idea of it, and Damien’s encouragement was helping. One of the only ones who wasn’t convinced was Mia, and that was the only reason he hadn’t told Act to go ahead and perform the ritual. He’d done more research as to what the ritual entailed and he knew it was going to be painful, but he also thought it was worth it. The whole idea of giving himself a name had kind of become an obsession for him, and right now he was so obsessed with the idea of being a witcher, that was the only idea that came to mind when he thought of how to make a name for himself.

(It was okay for a superhero movie. So is your week of everything being due finished? xD)
(Make him at least 14ish xD)
Alistair gave a motion to simply follow to the young man as he walked now headed to a second village, he wanted to large armies at the ready for when he took his mission into action. "I wish to never hear those words come out of your mouth again boy." Alistair responded to the boy's statement. "You're not Drezdon, a fake apprentice who is simply a pawn in my game that'll I sacrifice, you my boy are the pawn I plan on getting to the other side of the board, and be made a king." He informed he didn't plan on making this boy a king literally, just when Alistair was slayed someone to take over his ambitions. "You call me Sir Alistair." He informed he didn't need people thinking he had a cult. "By the way once we return, you're not my apprentice, but my son." He stated he would add some story about a woman he fall in love with if asked. He did plan on having his own child if he found a woman worthy of bearing his child, but just in case that never happened this boy would do. "By the way that Chimera I summoned, is going to be your horse later in life." He informed, he planned on teaching him how to ride it later when he had his armies built. "None mages had dragons for Ike, but my boy, Chimera are a different story." He commented he used to have his own, but it was killed by the old king who was a mage, as Alistair was alive back in those days. As to make a Chimera was considered blood, or dark magic depending on if you used animals, or humans to make it. "Also so I know your not soft, you'll be killing most of this village." He added as they walked. He didn't ride horses as he felt most mages were soft when forced to fight without magic, so he did this to keep up cardio as most know he is good with both magic, and none magic fighting.
Orophine finished sending commands, and his men were working on getting the beast of a ship moving. Looking at the mage he nodded. "Yes, by morning you'll meet my dear sister, and mother." He laughed he wouldn't make detours anymore as his mom was clear to send her armies if he took to long on returning. "Than I'll take you back to Brion so you can tell him the elves response.... However after that I want you to stay with us." He decided to finally say, it wasn't some cliche crush he suddenly grew on the mage human, in fact he hadn't even looked at her that way in the slightest, no this was simply he saw she liked it there, and a pirate crew with a mage was very likely to win most fights. "I'm sure the king will understand, if he doesn't we can come up with a story... Like lost family members, or the cliche love story." He laughed though he doubted the king of Vulci would keep someone from doing what they wanted. "Unless you wish a boring life as a advisor, than I shall drop the subject, and let you stay." He decided, and than moved to stand near the wheel of the ship as it begin moving, and the sail was released. (I'm gonna say Ace was told of her other job xD)
Ace adjusted his newly found glasses as Vivian, and himself bumped into one other. "Vivian, I am need of your special services." He informed Ace had changed quite a bit since his beating of the advisor. He had went from a carefree traveler look to a Scientist as his silver hair was in a ponytail, and he wore glasses now mainly because they helped with reading. He also wore more scholar type outfits, robes, and trench coat type attire. His personality changed a bit as well, as he became more ambitious, though he wasn't yet corrupted fully. "A certain Merchant has a book on blood magic, and witches. A family heirloom from back in the day when mobs hunted mages. He absolutely hates me, and well.... It's a family heirloom no ones sells those that easily." He informed he than took out a bag of coins. "If this doesn't cover your services I have more." He informed hoping she would accept, he didn't know where they stood anymore, for all he knew she hated him for his way of talking. "Also I'm sorry about my... comments." He decided to say he wouldn't mind having a friend in this castle, sure Ariella wasn't a enemy, but he missed having a friend he could speak to freely. Ariella wouldn't approve of his ambitions, maybe Vivian wouldn't either, but she was more likely to over Ariella.
Mia opened the door to Drezdon room, something she became used to doing back when she was his teacher. Bowing to the king she smiled. "My king I have good news, Ace has found a way to make it so you could still birth a child." She lied, but convincingly. "Though he must be the one to perform it since as I stated I won't torture you, and Alistair's last attempt killed the victim." She stated the spell Ace put on her working it's magic. "Plus he told me he'd make it so you have more free will than normal." She informed another lie there was only ritual for a Witcher. She looked calm, and normal as she spoke, but in the inside she was hoping the king would notice, for one Alistair would be pissed, and she couldn't stop him from trying to kill the king once he got back. (Up to you if he notices the spell, or not xD)

(Haha I only saw the first one one time, so I couldn’t get too excited about the second one. I’ll probably see it at some point after it comes out on DVD though.)
(Yeah, I turned in my last homework assignment for the semester last night, but now I have a final every day starting Sunday, yaaaaayyy. I’m really struggling to find motivation to study, which is bad especially because one of my hardest ones is on Sunday.)
(Would 16-19 be ok?)
“Very good, Sir Alistair,” the Akyrum (Ah-keyr-um) replied to the first bit, putting his hood back up and following the older mage. He had called Alistair “master” simply because that’s what he was used to. Before becoming Alistair’s apprentice, Akyrum had served under another mage who had insisted that Akyrum call him “master” all the time. That mage had been killed because he’d been stupid, however, and that had worked out quite well as Akryum was much more interested in the things Alistair was doing. He never really spoke much unless spoken to, so he stayed silent while Alistair talked of Akyrum being his ‘son’ and the Chimera. Akyrum had no problem with walking and kept up with Alistair easily. Horses tended to be very skittish around him, so he’d gotten used to managing without them. “I can do that,” was all he said in response to Alistair’s last statement. It wasn’t so much the killing that Akyrum loved as much as it was the destruction he could cause while doing it. (Alistair might have to work on Akyrum’s conversation skills xD)
(Spelling of his name may change)
Varaela raised an eyebrow at Orophine’s unexpected request. Yes she liked being on the ship and helping out when needed, but there were some members of the crew who weren’t all that fond of the idea of having women on board, much less being part of the crew. Still, she certainly wasn’t going to complain. Vulci didn’t have anything of interest to her anymore and she was tired of watching the kingdoms trying to one-up each other all the time. “I’d gladly stay if you’re sure you want me,” Varaela told him with a nod. She doubted Brion would have a problem with it, especially since Zrayah was his new advisor and probably already doing a better job at it than she ever had. “I have no interest in going back to Vulci if this is my other option.”
Vivian looked at Ace with a slight frown as he spoke, noticing the change in his appearance and attire. She hadn’t told him about her other jobs, but apparently someone had so she couldn’t very well deny it. She chose not to say anything when he apologised for his ‘comments’ but not because she didn’t forgive him –she’d already done that. It was more just so he hopefully wouldn’t see how much those ‘comments’ had affected her. Taking the bag of coins, she opened it, took out about four, and handed the rest back to him. “When would you like this book by?” she asked, making it clear she was taking the job. Maybe they could start speaking to each other again, even if it was just business, at least it was a start. Ace had been the only one she really talked to on a regular basis when she was at the castle, so it had been quite dull to work there lately.
Drezdon turned and smiled at Mia as she came in, that smile only broadening as she told him the ‘news.’ “That’s wonderful!” he replied with a laugh as he ran over, picked Mia up and spun in a circle before setting her down. If this hadn’t been exactly what Drezdon wanted to hear he might have picked up on the spell that Mia was under, but he was much too excited to notice it. “I’ll have to let Damien know of my decision also,” he said, already making plans for what would need to be done while he was going through the ritual. His mind was also skipping ahead to when he would be a Witcher and be able to use magic. It couldn’t happen fast enough. It was all he could do not to go run and find Ace right that moment. (I decided to go for it xD I really don’t care when/how he dies.)
(You don’t need to respond to this, I’m not sure there’s any way you could without making a new character, but it’s just a clip of what Ariella’s been up to.) Over the past few weeks Ariella had decided to start seeing someone again, especially since Ace had stopped visiting her as much. Drezdon never really paid her much attention, but once Ace became preoccupied with other things, Ariella had become quite lonely. The man she’d been courting was named Jayton, a wealthy nobleman living in the city. He and Ariella had met once at a party she’d thrown but hadn’t seen each other again until a few weeks ago and they’d decided to try a relationship. To put it quite plainly, it was a bit of a messed up relationship. Ariella was only in it so she felt like there was someone who cared about her and Jayton was only in it because Ariella was the princess. Well, there were certain other bonuses in it for him as well. Thats how Ariella found herself in his bed completely naked with Jayton’s arms wrapped around her. She was slightly ashamed of what she’d done, but at the same time it wasn’t like anyone back at the castle would ever know, and even if they did, they probably wouldn’t care.

(I'm gonna do a reply, but I'm a bit relaxed from the pill xD So they might be super weird, or normal xD)
(That's cool, so you have one more week?)
(Yea that's fine~)
Alistair looked at the boy with a slightly annoyed look on how simple this child was, but didn't comment anything. Maybe this would be a simple pawn he'd sacrifice he needed someone more him to be his true heir to his ambitions. As they continued walking Alistair would glance at the sky, his apprentice wasn't the most fun person to chat with so he tended to walk in silence with this child. It was a change from working with a cocky prince to whatever this blank child was. Stopping as they reached the next village's nearest mountain, and they began to ascend it. As they reached the top Alistair grabbed Akyrum's shoulder. "You can go wild, but the body must be intact. I have no need for headless demons, or armless ones. Do not attempt the blood spells I do, once there dead I make them demons." He told the boy then leaned on a rock that was nearby. "Get to it." He ordered as he snapped his fingers to summon a scope. "Try fighting like a normal human for a bit, use magic only if needed." He quickly added as he wanted this boy to know magic wouldn't always save your ass. After the command was given Alistair moved to get to work on his other ideas such as making a general for his army. He thought of a witcher, but despised them to much so he would have to find a different blood spell to do the job of making something loyal, and strong. "Also if you find any village women suitable of my time keep them alive, I do intend on having my bloodline continue." He had just now decided on the fact so his job know was build a army of demons, and find a woman he found suitable of bearing his blood heir. (I just recently came up with a future idea of Alistair's child, so you can either make a character, or I'll just say he met some village woman since the mother isn't that important in my plan xD)
Orophine simply patted her shoulder in response. "Than welcome aboard the Tsunami, as the new mage, and my first matey!" He laughed though he would let the messages be delivered before he let her fully join he didn't want a pissed of king. "So let's speed dropping the wolf, and message." He informed this was blocking his time of plundering, and treasure hunting. "Speaking of that message, I assume it is a offer to marry my sister?" He asked guessing because why else would King Brion want to send a marriage proposal. "I do hope she turns it down... Cause if she doesn't I'll have to escort my sister to Vulci, and..... I don't like my family." He laughed it wasn't that he couldn't have any power in running the kingdom, it was because his mom would always want him to live a boring life, and she loathed his pirate crew, mainly because it was humans. His mother didn't hate humans as much as others, but she didn't trust them very much. "Well I guess we'll see tomorrow." He laughed.
Ace looked at the bag surprised she only wanted that much, but he didn't complain. Putting the pouch away he looked at her for a moment. "Whenever you can do it, but for now..... I was wondering if you would accompany me to town." He offered it to her as he wanted a friend, and was hoping he could fix their friendship. "I need to buy a few things... To prepare for a ritual." He commented as he knew the king would be asking to start sooner, or later. "And buying the tools is quite boring, and I quite enjoy your company." He told her wondering if she would accept it, or not. "I also wanna talk about how much it would be to hire you for bigger jobs, I'll need later." He added it was mainly he wanted to befriend her again, but at the same time he wanted to know how big of jobs she could handle as sooner, or later he might ask her to kill Duncan the general of Vulci so he could use a dark spell. That way he'd have the king of Hyde as a pawn, and the general of Vulci as well. However to many witchers would be a bad thing so he would simply turn Duncan into a demon spawn, or something less powerful hence why he needed him dead.
Mia smiled as he did so because of the spell she had to act as happy as Drezdon was. "I'm sure he'll be happy, but you might want to wait.... Since the ritual takes a week, you'll need someone to be king for a few days." She informed the spell might make her push the witcher plan, but maybe she could talk Drezdon into letting Alistair be king for a few days. Sure the obvious choice was Damien, but knowing him his first order would be making all the woman go into his chambers. "Maybe wait til Alistair returns so he can be the replacement for the week." She added she would say herself, but she was a woman, and this was a kingdom.... however. "Or choice me, and I can use a spell to be a male for a week." She added since she didn't know where Alistair was, or when he'd return. That, and Drezdon seemed to want this done sooner, rather than later.
(Oh boy xD Ace is the puppetmaster~)
(...... Hmmm just for the comedy~ Jayton brother I shall rp! P)
Gaius a royal knight in Vulci, and the older brother to Jayton was just returning from Vulci's capital not knowing of his younger brother's new sexual partner he didn't feel the need to knock, or anything. So when the slim man entered the noble house of his brother Jayton he felt no need to knock. Gaius didn't have the look of a knight, more the look of a bard if anything, but he was known for being King Yuza's top soldier just behind General (forgot his name) who died during the crowning of King Brion. Gaius was even offered Duncan's job, but turned it down as the knight simply wished to live a peaceful life now, maybe start a family. Anyways the royal knight Gaius has medium length light brown hair that was quite curly, and a light 5'clock shadow upon his face. He carried a sword known as the oathkeeper on his back, and wore his light armor. Moving in the house he went inside his old room, and looked inside for a bit. Stripping his armor he changed in a light green shirt, and brown trousers that befit his bardish look. He even had a lute hung above his bed back as it was a hobby of his that he would make his career now besides maybe gambling a bit. Walking up to greet his young brother he opened the door, which wasn't locked cause why not, and looked at what greeted him. It took a few seconds for him to realize what he was seeing, he hadn't seen Jayton since he was a baby, and Gaius was younger teen. The age difference was there, but not overly done. "The runt of the litter, gets to fuck the sister of our dear king Drezdon!?" He asked acting surprised. "I don't know who our parents would be more proud of!" He joked he wasn't the kind of brother to just leave after seeing this as he didn't really care, they seemed to have already finished anyways so he didn't ruin it at least. "The noble knight! Who rode into battle with King Yuza during the conquering of Elosi, Yolse, Palmi, and killed the assassin who took his life, or the runt who managed to bang the hottest princess alive!" He laughed moving in the room, and lifting a drawer as he kept his money hidden in here were people least expected it. Grabbing the pouch he tossed it in the air. He didn't worry about his brother stealing since he hadn't told his brother about it. "Well I stick around, but I don't wanna ruin your fun." He laughed.
(....... Gaius is my favorite character now xD)

(Seemed pretty normal to me xD)
(Yup! I’m actually done Wednesday afternoon and I move back home on Thursday. I may not be on much the following Friday, Saturday, and Sunday because I’m going to Utah with my family. Just a head’s up. I might be on in the evenings if our hotel has wifi.)
(Sorry, Akyrum is pretty boring right now, I’m still trying to figure him out.)
Akyrum smirked to himself as he received his instructions, already imagining the screaming and running people. “Don’t worry, I will leave the blood magic to you,” he told Alistair with a nod and then started down the mountain toward the village. All of his scars and burns were caused by normal humans who hated mages, and they had killed both his parents also, so Akyrum relished any chance he got to make them pay. Unfortunately, Flameh isn’t in the mood to type out a big long gruesome thing, so you’ll just have to use your imagination. After he was finished, Akyrum hiked back up the mountain to where Alistair had stayed. The boy was covered in blood as he had followed instructions and used a normal sword as much as he could. There had been times when he’d used magic to make an electric current to run along the blade and make it more deadly. Hovering behind him was the unconscious body of a young woman. She had just been put under a spell to make transporting her easier. Akyrum wasn’t completely sure what Alistair was looking for in a woman to bear his child, but he thought he’d at least try. If Alistair didn’t like her he could just kill her and add her to the rest of the army. Just before arriving on the summit, Akyrum released the girl from the spell. At the moment she was too confused and frightened to put up much of a fight, so Akyrum was able to just push her ahead of him as they climbed the last 50 feet or so. Upon reaching Alistair, Akyrum pushed the girl down to her knees in front of him. “This young woman is the only one of appropriate age I thought to possibly be worthy of your attention, Sir Alistair,” he said, walking in a circle around her before coming to stand next to Alistair. “Yours is the final say, however, so if you don’t like her you should do as you please.” The woman, who was in her early to mid twenties (or whatever you prefer), was just starting to come out of the fog the spell had put her in, and she looked up at the two men in front of her. “W-who are you?” she asked, still not completely sure where she even was. “What do you want? Why were you killing everyone? Please let me go, I won’t–” “That’s enough!” Akyrum snapped, raising a hand as if to strike her though he had no intention of actually doing so, it was just a more surefire way to get her to shut up. It worked, the girl flinched and stopped talking and then looked between Alistair and Akyrum as she waited for one of them to hopefully explain what was going on. (I’m not attached to her, he can kill her if you want. I also don’t need her to be important in the plot or anything, I just thought it could potentially make it more interesting if I rp her. Idk we’ll see.)
Varaela nodded in response to his assumptions about the message. “If she does say yes, I may be able to try to sway her decision,” she joked with a slight grin. It was, of course, only a joke as she had no intention of getting in the middle of an argument with the elves if it weren’t necessary. She kind of wanted to ask him why he didn’t get along with his family, but she knew she hated answering questions on the subject of family, so she chose not to. “I don’t suppose the rest of your family is as friendly to humans as you are, is that right?” she asked. Now that it was nearly time for her to speak with Reyles Ciri she was beginning to dread it more and more. She’d never been very good at communicating with people, especially when she was in a tense situation or felt like she was being judged. The last thing she needed was to say or do something stupid and make the elves hate humans even more.
“You get a discount as a ....friend,” Vivian explained, seeing the surprise on his face when she gave the bag back. Might as well put it out there that she wanted to be friends again. “Don’t get too used to it though if you want bigger jobs done,” she said, but was half teasing. She made enough money now that giving Ace a bit of a discount wouldn’t hurt. “I’ll go with you to town. I’d rather not talk about this too much here,” she said and began moving in the direction of the castle’s exit. “Do I want to know what kind of ritual you’re preparing for?” She asked once they were outside. She didn’t know much about magic, but all the rituals she knew of were generally for somewhat dark purposes. That’s not to say there weren’t rituals for other things, the dark ones were just the ones she knew. Even so, she wasn’t going to question his reasons. She really didn’t care about why people did things most of the time, that was part of why she was good at what she did. If you started to care why someone wanted someone else killed, it turned into a mess of questioning morals, which was something she just didn’t have time for. It was just easier not to ask.
(Haha yuuup)
Drezdon thought about this for a few minutes. “Well, you know my mother and Zeith let Lucina be queen every once and a while,” he pointed out after a while. “I bet they’d be willing to let you take on the role for a week without turning into a man. Besides, you’d have to turn into probably either Alistair or Damien in order for people not to question it.” Having some random guy take the throne, even for only a week, would be pretty weird. Drezdon wasn’t sure he really wanted Damien running the kingdom while he was occupied, but he also didn’t want to wait for Alistair since no one seemed to know when he’d be back. Of course, he wasn’t considering the fact that the people had already liked Lucina quite a bit before she’d been allowed to be queen, and Lucina also hadn’t been a mage. Drezdon didn’t think much of it since he’d grown up with mages, but the people of Hyde were still not terribly fond of them.
(Oh man this’ll be interesting xD)
Fortunately Ariella was mostly covered when Gaius walked in, but even so she scrambled to pull more blankets over her. Part of her wanted to laugh but most of her wanted to cry. It would have been best for the whole thing to be kept quiet, but now that was unlikely. Not to mention the comments made by Gaius were probably meant to be somewhat flattering, but the way he said them just made Ariella feel worse. Living with Drezdon had made her a master at hiding when she was hurt, however, so none of that showed on her face. Jayton had a completely different reaction. He quickly rolled out of bed and, after throwing some pants on, went over and embraced his brother for a moment. They weren’t all that close, but Jayton had always looked up to Gaius. “If I’d known you were coming home I would have had a proper greeting for you!” he said with a laugh. “What brings you home? Are you here to stay for a while?” Ariella carefully sat up, making sure she was still completely covered, and couldn’t help giving the brothers an annoyed look. Did they really have to have their little reunion here? Couldn’t they at least go out in the hall so she could get dressed and feel like she actually was the princess rather than just feeling embarrassed and vulnerable. Well, more vulnerable than she felt most of the time now. She promised herself, however, that she would not cry in front of them so she said nothing and crossed her arms securely over her chest.
(I’m not sure it’s obvious or not yet, but Ariella’s pretty messed up emotionally and mentally right now, so if she seems weird that’s probably why)
