Captain General Thomas just yesterday had been all dollied up as he was honored by a fancy noble who had sent him to get back his land. That was recently taken by pirates.... A lot of them. It used to be called Nassa, though they had no clue what the pirates called it. Through the night Thomas was a dignified general despite knowing he was only assigned this to hopefully die. His father wasn't the best of parents. Through the night he had been drinking a small amount, and dancing with a few ladies as he was indeed a young gent in his own right, though he was a gentleman meaning he hadn't spoiled any noblemen's daughters this night. However that was yesterday, and now General Thomas was inside a small wooden cabin. A polar opposite to the fancy manor. The sound of men running about could be heard as the ship the S.S Arkerson named clearly after Thomas' bloodline. This ship had served as his great grandfather's, his grandfather, and his father's making it just as noble as Thomas' name itself. Moving glass of whiskey from his desk he quickly took it down before closing the bottle. Only one day had lasted before things got bad. In fact not even a day, maybe five hours on the sea. It wasn't that bad a pirate hadn't attacked. It was more his quartermaster being deathly sick already, and the men already wished to throw him overboard so not to ill anyone else. Standing up Thomas fixed his collars as he heard the yelling of his crew grow louder, and he walked out to a horde of men at his door. "Captain we tried to stop him! The fool acted on his own." A burly man informed pointing to the least likely of people to do something without orders. James Blackferi.
James was normally a easy going person she didn't act without order, nor did she like to kill. However she did want to stop a mutiny before it happened. Captain Thomas kept delaying the removal of the quartermaster, and now another was sick. So while the others had been dining she had killed them both, and tossed them overboard only to be caught in the fact when the deed was done. Now the captain stood before her. "Aye, they did try to stop me." She agreed using her fake male voice that somehow fooled people. "But this was for the good of the ship, if half the crew grew sick, and the other half wanted you dead we wouldn't even see this blasted Nassa." She commented being deadly honest not really scared since the captain didn't really care for the quartermaster since a year ago during a mission he had broken Thomas' nose during a mutiny brawl. Thomas watched him for a few moments his arms crossed. "Begone all of yea, you got work to do. It had to be done, I was coming out here to order it." He informed though he was slight annoyed punishing James was simply to bring annoyance among the crew since most found the man a friend since he got most of them laid as he was a smooth talker. With that he moved to the patrol around the ship. James couldn't help, but smile as she was let off the hook, and smiled. Moving she walked to the left side of the ship, and peered along it staring at the water as she normally did. Her job was mainly to man a canon when in a fight so she was normally goofing around if no one ordered her to help them.
Skull was inside Nassa unlike normal. Her ship had been hijacked by her crew after finding out she killed, and tortured a crewmate for stealing one extra coin of payment. Normally they'd be okay with it, but she had gone a bit wild with the punishments, and now Skull wasn't a captain, but a simple pirate needing a crew to join. One that would accept a monster of the sea. She wasn't fond of being a captain anyways as she only shined in battle, sailing wasn't her cup of tea, nor finding treasure. Standing inside a pub she drink a glass of rum eight other glasses sat near her as she was deep in her cups despite it being only midday. All seats around her where empty as people feared her face, and she refused to hide it. When people tried to kick her out she would kill them so nowadays they didn't care.

Sam had no intention of dying of sickness at sea, so he had been doing his best to stay away from the sick quartermaster and then the other sick man when he became ill as well. When he found out what the commotion on deck was all about, he was glad to hear someone had finally done what needed to be done. He was so new to this ship he wasn't trusted with much other than cleaning the decks and whatever other dirty work needed to be done. As such, no one really wanted much to do with him most of the time. The one person who ever talked to him on a semi-regular basis was James. Once the commotion had subsided, Sam wandered around until he found the other man. "So do I need to be concerned you'll murder me in my sleep If I upset you?" he joked, leaning against the rail next to James.
Jonathan sat in the pub talking to anyone who would listen about all the fights he'd been in and all the people he'd killed. The more he drank the louder he talked and the more likely he was to get into another fight with someone. Eventually he ran out of people around him to talk to, and when he saw the empty seats by Skull he decided he'd better go fill one. He'd never met the woman before and he was drunk enough at this point he didn't really notice anything strange about her. Until he plopped into the seat next to her and looked straight at her face. "Holy fuck, what the fuck happened to you?" He asked, taking a gulp of his drink.
Kat sat in the back corner of the pub, watching the people around her. She was in need of a few new crew members but didn't want to pick up just anyone. Her gaze flickered around the room, watching how the people in the pub interacted with other members of her current crew. She rolled her eyes as she watched Jonathan drink himself silly and then start up a conversation with someone at the bar.
(Dang, I need to get back into the habit of long posts xD)

James was leaning over the edge when Sam came over. She watching the bodies she tossed as they were left behind. Laughing at the comment she moved away from the edge, and patted Sam's shoulder. "Aye, you should be concerned. If I fear the ship's well being is in danger I'd kill anyone." She answered clearly joking she wasn't a cruel person, she was just able to do the dirty work when no one else did. It helped make people forget about her small frame, and such when she acted like that. "If I do the captain's job one day I might just get prompted." She commented her dream was to become a general herself, and be as famous as General Thomas to redeem her family name. "I might even put in a good word for you." She added.
Skull looked at the drunk man having ignored his talking at first, but at his question she couldn't help, but laugh. "It's been awhile since I've been asked about it." She thought aloud her drunk mind luckily stopping her from attacking him. She wasn't sensitive about her face, though kicking someone ass over it meant she had an excuse. Though when she's drunk she tended to not fight as much, which is way she is normally talked into drinking a lot when on a ship. "I was held down, and fucked like a dog with my face slammed into a fire pit." She answered truthfully looking at the man with her one none exploded eye. "Now is there something you need?" She asked being somewhat civil the complete opposite of her sober.
(Don't worry about it, mine aren't that long either. Lel)

(Sorry, I fell asleep on the couch as I was watching a math video (not for fun, I promise xD). I may not be on much at all tonight because I have three assignments due tomorrow and I've only started one of them.)
Sam laughed. "Well, I admire you for your dedication to the ship," he said with a smile. He wished he cared enough about the ship and her crew to at least make him want to be there. He supposed he would grow to like it the longer he spent on the ship, but all he seemed to be able to think about was how much he missed home. "I must say, I think you'd make a good captain yourself," he added. "You always know what needs to be done and how to do it best. Not to mention everyone likes you." Sam was a bit jealous of the other man for all of this. He wanted to be good at his job, he just didn't have the feel for any of it yet.
Jonathan processed her words for a moment and then laughed. "Well, I don't suppose being fucked like a dog is a problem for you anymore," he said with a grin. "You couldn't pay me to fuck you with that face." He continued to laugh at what he though was a hilarious joke, ignoring her last question. More like forgetting she'd asked it. He was slow enough sober, but when he was drunk it was much worse. He could fight just fine in either state, but words made little sense to him when drunk.

(A'ight, I plan on going to bed soonish anyways. I gotta gotta get up early-)
"Everyone likes me because all they have to do is ask, and I can have the prettiest girl fuck the ugliest dude with my smooth talking." James laughed when he mentioned her becoming captain. Mainly because she always thought sitting in a cramped room filling out paperwork was quite boring. "Psh, and fill out paperwork?! Never, while Captain Thomas seems to get a lot of the ladies during parties, it's still not worth it. Especially since I can get them myself." She stated with a nod. "I'm quite fine with the idea of being a labeled a hero, and retiring. Hopefully I can get luckily, and earn that during this mission." She really didn't like faking her gender all her life, so the sooner she fixed her family's name she planned on disappearing, and going back to being Elizabeth.
Skull watched him, and laughed. "Like I'd want fucked by someone like you! If I was to pay for sex it'd be with someone worth the coin." She retorted to him clearly not taking offense by his comment. "Now go find someone else to bother before I show you why I'm called a monster around here." She warned looking back at the bartender ordering other drin.

"I hadn't considered the paperwork," Sam replied with a slight laugh. The prospect of getting ladies hadn't occurred to him either, but he didn't really care about that aspect much. He was much too worried about his younger sister to care much for other ladies. "So is that why you joined the Navy then? To become a hero?" The thought had never occurred to Sam that someone would join the Navy -or any part of the military for that matter- because they wanted to.
Jonathan stood up quickly, but due to his drunken state lost his balance and fell over before he could draw his gun, which had been his plan. He knocked into another man in the bar, who of course was not pleased and promptly started a fight with Jonathan. Kat, who had watched the whole thing unfold, smirked and stood, hoping Jonathan would get his ass kicked. She disliked the man intensely, but put up with him because of his fighting ability. Leaning against a support beam in the pub, she silently watched the fight grow.

James nodded when he asked, and looked out at the sea. "My father was a common thief, my uncle a daft pirate, and my mum was a prostitute. The only way to fix my last name is to become a hero of the seas." She informed though at this point she simply wanted to become a navy hero for the simple fact she would never have to go back to her old life of living on what she found that day. If she reached Sir Thomas' level she'd be a hero to the people, and live quite a good life. She didn't really change her past because for the few people who would look up her last name to fact check her they'd learn that she was telling the truth, but the family was infamous enough to mention specifics on if any of them lived. "You joined for your sister, right? That's pretty much the same reason. You want to be her hero." She stated her eyes following the water as if waiting for a ship to come into sight, though it all seemed like smooth sailing.
Skull watched his poor attempt to pull out his gun, and watched the brawl. Standing up she moved away from the fight as to avoid one of them being tossed into where she had been sitting. Skull then simply joined in the cheers, yelling for the other guy to kick Jonathan's arse. She loved a good arse whoopin as much as the next person.

(Sorry for not being here much, stuff keeps coming up. I may be a bit poofy today again but I should be here more consistently after Sunday afternoon/evening.)
Sam laughed. "I'm not sure there's anything I can do anymore to become my sister's hero," he told James, shaking his head. "She was rather upset with me and my decision, despite it being the best one for the family." She hadn't even come to see him off when the ship left. With a small laugh, he said, "She actually hit me when I told her I was leaving to join the Navy. Hard. She can be a bit of a hot-head." He just hoped their oldest brother would keep her out of trouble. "I apologise, I didn't mean to ramble on," Sam said glancing over at James and then back out at the water. "How long do you reckon before we get to Nassa?"
Jonathan was able to hold his own for a while, but eventually there got to be too many against him and he started getting beat up badly. Unsurprisingly, none of his crew mates stepped up to help him; Jonathan didn't have many friends on the ship. Kat waited until he'd been bloodied up pretty good before stepping forward, a pistol in both hands. She fired the first one at the ceiling, getting their attention. "Oi! That's enough. He's learned his lesson." If he hadn't been a member of her crew, Kat would have been happy to let the fight continue, but, despite her dislike for Jonathan, he was her responsibility. And a good fighter most of the time. She didn't want to lose that asset. There was a moment of silence as they stared at her, and then one of the men, angry that she'd stopped the fight, started toward her, drawing his firearm. Kat simply lifted her other pistol and shot the man. No body else moved, which she was glad for as she was now out of shots and would have had to take them on with a sword. Deaths by sword were generally much messier, and Jonathan had already made enough of a mess of the place.

(Alright, I'll be around. I've been playing Heavy Rain for the fiftieth time so I haven't been on much either tbh.)
James simply patted the man's back. "I'm sure she'll change her thoughts on you once you return, and if she doesn't you could always introducer to me~"James joked, and moved away from the ledge grabbing a book she got from the Quartermaster before dumping him. "Hmmmm, well three days if we don't run into trouble." She commented tossing the book to Sam a scheme coming up in her mind as she saw the Captain coming down. "You should study that book, because I think I'm about to earn you a promotion friend~" She teased with a devilish smile. "Being quartermaster to Captain Thomas Arkerson is gonna get you pretty far in trading your sister's mind I'd wager." She commented before coughing, and speaking a bit louder. "You know we need a new quartermaster." She spoke her eyes gazing about to see if anyone took notice, and indeed a few have. "My friend Sam here, might be a newbie, but imagine if he started his training now he'd be one of the best damn quartermasters in a few years." She spoke with her charismatic voice that she tended to use on the ladies, and to show her skills worked for more than that a few man cheered, and Captain Thomas walked over. Thomas eyed them for a bit, before looking at Sam. "Normally I'd turn this down, but seeing as everyone else on here is more suited for fighting, or ship maintenance I'll allow it." He told them. "Just don't get sick." He commented, and crossed his arms as he waited for the man to respond to the offer.
Skull watched the fight, and noticed the woman come to save her dog. Laughing Skull went over to the bar again grabbing her glass she cared less about a gunshot to cause he to run off. However she looked at the girl a bit more before crossing her arms as she realized who it was. "Captain Kat of Cursed Angel?" She greeted though in a questionable tone as she wasn't for sure. She had seen her about back when she was a captain herself before her crew turned. In Nassa most captains where known as news passed quite fast about things, and joint missions were set up here as well. "I can't believe you would keep such a wild dog on no leash. You're quite luckily he's so daft, otherwise he seems the type to mutiny." She warned mainly striking conversation.

Sam looked at the book James tossed him, and did his best to conceal his surprise when the Captain actually agreed to let him have the position. He knew almost nothing about being a quartermaster, but if it meant he was less likely to be at the center of a fight, he would be willing to try just about anything. "Thank you, sir," Sam said with a slight bow. "I will do my best to learn quickly and, of course, not get sick," he said with a smile. Working so closely with the captain would certainly have its perks. Sam just hoped he was up to the challenge.
Kat glanced over at the woman who'd spoken to her. "Aye, that's me," she confirmed, unsurprised people knew she and her crew were on the island. "I know he wants to mutiny," she said with a short laugh. Watching Jonathan stagger off cursing. "But as you say, he's too much of an idiot to know how to do it properly. Besides, every ship needs a few attack dogs too stupid to do more than follow orders." If it became more of a problem she would put a leash on him, or she might just kill him. She wouldn't lose any sleep over his death. "You would know about mutiny, though," she said, turning back to Skull. Jonathan had been too drunk and stupid to recognize Skull, but Kat paid attention and listened to rumors and stories. The other woman's appearance was well known to many, and Kat had heard of the recent mutiny, though that rumor was known to fewer.

"You'll be paid more, and once we reach base they should give you the proper paperwork." Thomas informed, and turned around to go back to patrolling the ship. Mainly making sure he didn't hear any coughing. "Aye good job my man!" James laughed patting his back with a smile on her face. "Now your pretty much five steps closer to being a hero!" She informed him saluting her new quartermaster. "I'll make sure to bring a pretty lady to your promotion party once we back to London." She added with a nod, and looked around the ship once more. "I'll help you if you ever need help with the job." She stated since she had hung around the previous quartermaster before she killed him.
"Aye I do, and that's one reason I'm going to reveal something only my crew of backstabbers know." Skull informed, her crew had been on the search for a London ship bound for the capital. That ship just so happened to have a lot of gold, or at least it did. "My ship has more gold then any building on this island right now, a lot of gold that could be yours." She added looking at Kat now with a serious look. "I can lead you to it, if you promise to take me with. I ask for no share of gold, I merely want to kill Hindlestien." She proposed her offering, she wasn't planning on doing this early today, but the amount of alcohol made her want for revenge grow.
