(Yus xD)
Varaela scoffed at the stone throwing comment. “If they throw stones the’ll find those stones coming back at their faces because unlike your kind, I can do all kinds of nasty things with my magic,” she said, crossing her arms and returning some of the glares she got from passing elves. It wasn’t even that she had a problem with the elves, per se, but it was her natural reaction to show hostility if others were doing the same to her. She would have responded the same to glares and comments from humans as well. When they arrived at the shop, Varaela took one look at the women outside and stopped dead in her tracks. “That hardly even counts as clothing!” she protested. “And you say that’s appropriate to greet the Reyles?” She shook her head beginning to wonder if she’d be able to go through with the plan. It was kind of too late now though since Orophine had already spoken to his mother and told her he had a ‘lover.’ She glanced at the models again, telling herself that she would act as confident as they were when she met Reyles Ciri. With a sigh, she started forward again, making sure Orophine was following. “Once you get someone to actually help me you can go,” she told him as they walked. She doubted he wanted to be in the shop any more than she did, but she was a little worried they’d just turn their noses up at her or worse if she went in alone.
(Crap, you’re right he is acting like young Drezdon. Don’t want that. Get ready for potentially dramatic personality shift to take place in the next few posts xD)
Adaline looked down at her dress mournfully. It wasn’t terrible, but what would the king and princess think of her? After a moment, however she decided to just let it go since she probably wouldn’t have been able to afford a nicer dress anyway. Akyrum looked at his clothing, frowning when he realised Alistair was right about looking like an escapee from jail. He nodded when Alistair told him he was to go get Mia, but gave him a funny look when he mentioned Ace. “I’m sorry, I don’t understand how Ace would... use me to give me personality...?” Obviously Akyrum had no clue he was so unpleasant to be around. Adaline tried not to laugh at Akyrum’s comment. She honestly didn’t feel like he was that bad, but his cluelessness was funny.
(Haha not sure I can help much there xD) Vivian shrugged off his odd phrasing. “I’d offer to help persuade him just to be sure he doesn’t change his mind, but the king doesn’t particularly like me anymore,” she said, shaking her head. “Though I wish I could help because I do like the idea of a date,” she told him with a small smile, putting a hand on his arm for a moment and then began tidying her room as it was quite a mess. “Why would he suddenly change his mind though?” she asked. “I though he was dead set on becoming a witcher so he could use magic.” Drezdon hadn’t publicly announced his engagement –that would happen tomorrow– so only some knew of it and Vivian wasn’t of enough importance in the castle to hear any of these sort of secrets.
“Come now, Gaius, you wound me,” Jayton joked, pretending to be offended by the prostitute comment. “They are all fine ladies, many of which have never seen a man shirtless, much less naked,” he informed his brother, moving to a chair and putting his feet up on the table. “Though you’re so picky it may be difficult to find one that makes you happy,” he mused, running a hand through his hair. Jayton was perfectly happy with any woman as long as she was pretty and wealthy. Though he was willing to overlook money if she was incredibly good-looking. You might say he was all about the looks and really didn’t care about personality. Unless her personality bothered him, anyway. At the same time, he wasn’t a womanizer like Damien, as he did tend to have a legitimate relationship with a woman before he slept with her. “Seriously though, all you have to do is ask and I will find a woman ready to meet you within the day,” Jayton told him, already beginning to go through the list of possible candidates. “I won’t even charge you for it since your my brother,” he joked with a grin. It had only happened once or twice, but a few of his friends had paid him to set them up with someone.
(Oh boy, do I need to be planning another character? xD)
Celestra arched a delicate brow at the mention of her brother having a lover, ignoring the rest of the information for a moment. “You’re telling me Orophine has found a woman who will tolerate his ridiculous behaviour for more than a few minutes?” she asked with disbelief. “I’d be willing to bet she’s human. He would do something like that to embarrass the family.” The words escaped her mouth without her ever thinking Gethon might take offense to it. Celestra tended to conveniently overlook the fact that he was half human most of the time, so when she made rude remarks about them, she didn’t really consider his feelings. As it happened, she was completely oblivious to his crush on her, but even if she had known she probably wouldn’t have said anything different. “I suppose I’ll have to meet her and be civil tonight at dinner,” she said with a frown. “Very well, I’ll be at the dinner. And you say the little human king wants to marry me? Hmm.....” she trailed off, thinking about that. It was likely her mother would accept and as much as Celestra disliked humans, she probably would agree as well. It would put the elves in an advantageous position if war ever broke out, and Celestra had an idea of taking over the human kingdoms. She believed it would be better for the humans, especially since their kingdoms had become such a mess over the past years.
(Haha ok well I’m not even sure it’ll ever come up. Like I said, I just can’t shake the thought for some reason xD Another thought just occurred to me: would it make sense for them to have primarily male servants since men seem to generally be of lower status? Or am I completely off in that assumption? I think since they’re ruled by women I somehow got that idea in my head, not sure if that’s what you had in mind.)

Orophine followed her inside after a bit, with a slight sigh as entering this building shattered his masculinity in his mind. Rubbing his chin he glanced around for a bit looking for a worker, or something. "Clothes, that cover up a lot are seen as a way of showing your hiding something." He simply informed his culture was weird he would admit that, but than again he thought it was weird because he followed three cultures, human, elf, and pirate. "Plus it builds confidence, was another excuse." He laughed looking at Varaela for a moment wondering if she was really going to put one of these things on. After about a minute he soon found a store worker, and got the young female elf to follow him over to Varaela. The girl gave a slight stare at Varaela, but did glare since she didn't want a girlfriend of Orophine, well mainly she didn't want to anger anyone related to Ciri, and that extended to Varaela since she was with Orophine. "Alright I'll leave you two in here, ________ make sure to make my girlfriend happy." He commented using the lie for the first time when he was standing near Varaela. He than handed Varaela his bag of silver, and began to left. "Also, I do hope I don't need to warn you of what'll happen if you anger her with the stupid racism idea you idiots share." With that he exited the building.
(xD I thought you were going for that~ Alright. x3)
Alistair didn't have much to add to the thing about Ace so he continued walking without a word. "Knowing Ace when we reach the castle all my plans will have been shifted." He sighed rubbing his chin little did he know about the Witcher thing, or the wedding. Tipping his head forward slightly as it covered his snake like eyes he entered what was the last detour til the capital, the forest. (Now I have to find a way to delay them so Ace can get the ritual started first xD) As they walked through the dense forest Alistair was keenly aware of the noise of footsteps, and added with that was the sound of a branch snapping every know, and than. Finally sensing his time he sent a fireball spell into some bushes, but hit nothing though a little squirrel could be heard. Moments later a heavy build of a man rammed him full speed sending each other into a grudge just conveniently next to a large mountain that led into a ravine. "Alistair fucking Monta." The man laughed his hood having fallen to reveal Ryu the young archer villager turned witcher. "Mother will be quite happy to know I bagged me the one she hates the mo-" He began, but than Alistair grabbed his face, and smoke soon appeared causing the witcher to get up, and back up. A few minutes of a stare of the two fight in a big fight ending with Alistair on the ground. As the mage began to get up he knew what was going to happen so he found Akyrum, and tossed his cane. "You.... two.... have fun....." He coughed for the first time he was in pain which I mean he had a bloody dagger in the left side of his chest luckily he moved before it got his right side. As the cane left his hand the witcher speared Alistair, and himself into the ravine. (Not dead, just a delay xD)
Ace rubbed his head as the question was laid on out, he didn't know why he was a nervous wreck at the moment. "Maybe big plans isn't meant for my bloodline." He laughed though that statement was kind of odd since his father became a king, and his mother was a queen in Gildor, but at the same time they never really worked big plans, and were just lucky mostly. "I'm sure he likes you more, than myself." He laughed knowing that hatred should turn into him, him being a god basically to the king. "I'll be on my way." He decided not wanting to keep Vivian from her job, and he had some more stuff like finding a way to delay the soon returning home general who little did he know was getting destroyed at the moment. However he did decide to do something first. "Since Drezdon is giving the speech tomorrow, tonight would you want to join me on our first real date?" He asked looking at her. (I think at some point I want Ace to turn into a medieval Joker xD Basically his skins get fuck by some spell, and he turns into a insane clown basically might even make him a jester if I do it. Maybe it's because of the batman comics I've recently been reading, but then again I think it'd just be fun xD What do you think?)
Gaius looked at him for a moment wondering if he really should take it, or leave it. He wasn't much of a guy who took pride in help, though at the same time he didn't really get close to noble girls since he was a peasant, and so the richest, beside the princess he saw since his return that he was able to speak with was a merchant daughter, and that merchant was the most trustworthy either. "Alright, if you can find me one go ahead." He simply answered with not really expecting much as he opened the door to leave for a bit.
(Up to you if you want to make one, if not we can just drop them for a bit.)
Gethon didn't really take offense, as he only got annoyed if the comment was on him, he didn't really care for full blooded humans since the only reason he was a half breed is because his mother was kidnapped by pirates, and well let's just say he had a possible twenty fathers who he didn't care to much to look for. With that he wasn't a love struck puppy mainly why his feelings weren't open, and only Fiossa really knew of them. "Combining the races would be awesome, unless we think of it clearly." Gethon decided to say earning him a look from Fiossa. "Sure in a perfect world you, and human king would have a son, he'd be king, and the racism would stop. However in this world the moment you announced the wedding a civil army would appear in Valm, and another one in Vulci. Normally this would be fine, but Valm would have to fight a civil war, and a rebellion war." He announced at that Fiossa flicked his forehead. "We could end the rebellion right now." Fiossa laughed it was openly know Gethon was the leader of the group of mostly male elfs who want it so both genders could share power. Gethon had started it as basically a mafia type system, but it was a rebellion army now. In human culture most would find it odd the rebellion leader was friends with, and even had a crush on the Reyles daughter, but Ciri refused to simply behead Gethon mainly because he was like a son to her as he used to always hang with Orophine as children.
(Hmmm, eh why not, we can do that xD)

Varaela opened her mouth to snap at Orophine, but shut it as she remembered they were supposed to be lovers and it would look odd for her to snap at him in public. Once he left, she wrapped her arms around herself and looked warily around the shop at all of the clothing, uncomfortable on multiple levels. Put her in front of an army and she wouldn’t blink, but put her inside a clothing shop and she completely lost her nerve. She knew it was pathetic, but that didn’t help her feel any better right now. The worker asked Varaela what she was looking for, but when she was unable to answer that question, she just began bringing out dresses and making Varaela try them on. When Varaela saw herself in the first one she let out a quiet stream of choice words, shaking her head. The young elf had smirked slightly and gone to fetch a slightly less revealing dress. Eventually Varaela emerged from the shop after purchasing two dresses. One she was wearing now to make her look a little more like she fit in and the other she carried in a bag to change into later in the day. She found Orophine and handed him what was left over of the silver. “I’ll pay you back,” she promised. “I can’t believe I’m doing this. If we ever go back to Vulci and you see Zrayah, you will not tell him anything about this,” she threatened, jabbing a finger at him. It would have been a dagger, rather than her finger, but her daggers were stuffed in the bottom of the bag with her old clothes. That made her think of a question she’d been meaning to ask since she’d taken them off. “Would it be considered inappropriate for me to carry weapons?” she asked Orophine, tugging on the dress to try to make herself feel more comfortable.
(Haha no, actually not xD)
Adaline had been looking for something to hit Ryu with and was tugging on a branch to try to break it off of a tree, but that was obviously not going to work. When Ryu and Alistair were cast into the ravine, she stopped and looked over the edge only to be jerked back by Akyrum. “Get away from there, you might fall and then I’d really be in trouble,” he said, trying to use a light tone but he was quite on edge after being jumped by Ryu. He looked at the cane and then in the direction of the castle and sighed. “Well I guess it’s just you and me for a while,” he said and began walking again. After walking for another half hour or so they reached the city. Just before entering, Akyrum had done as Alistair had requested and changed into a suit and he had even done a quick spell to make Adaline’s dress look nicer. He was now regretting that, however, as now she was thanking him about every two minutes. Of course, right as they arrived at the road leading to the castle, they were informed by some guards that the road was closed due to preparation for an announcement from the king the following day. No matter how hard Akyrum tried, he couldn’t get them to let Adaline and himself through, so they were would be forced to walk all the way around to the other side of the castle. By this time, however, night had fallen so Akyrum sighed and decided it would have to wait until tomorrow. Alistair was nowhere to be found anyway, so it didn’t seem like it would be a problem. (Much less epic of a delay, but a delay nonetheless xD)
(I mean if you think it would be fun, go for it, haha. I have to say, I’ve really only sort of seen the first and second batman movies and it was a while ago, so I don’t remember all that much.)
Vivian watched him, noticing how nervous he seemed and walked over to him, grabbed his arms gently. “You need to relax,” she told him quietly, moving her hands up and down in a soothing manner. “It’s all going to be fine. Bloodline has nothing to do with anything, believe me. Just breathe.” After a moment of consideration, she leaned forward and brushed her lips lightly against his before stepping back and opening the door. “Now go do what you need to do, let me know if I can be of any help, and I’ll see you tonight for our first real date.” After a moment she added, “and don’t forget to relax.” (Skip to later/drop?)
(Ok, let’s just drop them for a bit. If I suddenly come up with an idea (I mean I kind of already have one, but eh) we can try it for a while.)
Celestra made a face as Foissa and Gethon spoke as the thought of having a son with the human king made her sick. Of course she would do it if it was necessary but that didn’t mean she had to like it. “Let’s not end it here, I don’t think mother would forgive me if we got blood on her favorite rug,” she joked. As much as she disliked humans and disliked the idea of humans and elves being on the same level, she really saw no reason to oppose the idea of allowing males and females to share power in Valm. Even if males became eligible to rule, she doubted Orophine would have any interest in it, so she was more or less guaranteed the throne after her mother anyway. “I know it’s not a simple problem, Gethon, and I honestly don’t think it’s something one marriage would be able to solve,” she said honestly. Though, she also had no intent of even trying to stop the racism if she were to marry King Brion. In her mind, elves truly were superior to humans, and it would take a lot to change that opinion. That’s not to say it can’t be changed, we’ll have to see
(Sorry, I guess I really like culture-building xD As I said before, it may not even come up, and if you prefer, the whole male servants thing can just be something Celestra does. She’s… a bit of an odd child as you will come to see unless I change her.)
(Oh and just so you know, it may show I'm offline, but I'll be here all evening/night. I just close the tab on my computer.)

While Orophine awaited Varaela he had stricken close to the shade of a tree as to avoid people asking him why he left, and more importantly to avoid any of his old friends that may pass by. Once the mage was in sight again he looked at her, but didn't commented, nor stare to long. He than looked at a clock, and rubbed his head his carefree smile was more a frown know as it was getting close to time. He then raised a eyebrow at her comment. ".....Who?" He asked not knowing of the other mage. Than he gave a motion meaning don't answer that as he didn't plan on meeting said person any time soon, not because he didn't want to meet him he really cared less it was more he didn't go to far from the sea, and the castle of Vulci was quite far inland. "Don't worry, I'm like a carb I'll come out of the sea, but I won't go to inland." He informed as he had no intention to go back with Varaela to the castle, instead he'd wait maybe three days for her to return before setting sail with, or without her. "Unless you want treated like a rebellion assassin I'd say leave the weapons." He commented with a laugh, and began walking. He was delaying it as much as he could stopping to fix his shoes here, and talking to random stranger there, but soon they reached the gates of the castle, and he was greeted by a rock creature, a beast used instead of elfs for guards as most elves were more meant for a bow than a sword, not to say some didn't prefer the sword. The golem studied Orophine before backing off without a word. "Come, darling my mother awaits." He sighed as he headed into the castle. After a bit of walking he entered what in Vulci would be a courtyard garden, but in Valm was the throne room. A water fall was behind the large chair that instead of metals was made of wood, and had plant life circling around it. ".....Mother." He greeted the tall green haired woman who smiled at the sight of her son despite Orophine always saying his mother hated him none of that sowed. "Dear, Oro." The Reyles greeted her son by standing up, and hugging him for a moment despite his clearly open dislike. Letting him go the female elf looked at Varaela, and despite Ciri wanting to mix the races she clearly showed dislike in her eyes. "Is this the....creature you love?" She asked looking at the girl for a few moment seeing Orophine nod slightly, though Ciri knew her son, and planned on making them prove it later as she knew Orophine lied. "I am Reyles Ciri, we don't use last names here." She informed looking at the human. "You changed your taste Oro." She teased rubbing his head, and moving to find a guard. "Fetch Celestra, and make sure she doesn't bring Gethon I don't need rumors of me supporting that stupid rebellion of his." She told the servant who nodded, and went to find Celestra, and crew.
(We can drop the trio for a bit xD I'll have Alistair join them next time we skip a day, by making a long story of the fight xD) (Drop number two spot here xD All I mean is Ace becomes a psychopath guy that has a clown look really xD Just for the comedic effect. x3 ) (Drop three spot here~)
Gethon simply nodded, and was about to say something when a servant came bounding over to them. "Milady Celestra, your mother summons you...." He started than turned to Gethon, servants didn't hate him, but they feared the man so this guy was nervous. "Reyles Ciri says no Gethon...." He added looking at the guy for a bit wondering if he was going to get punched, but Gethon simply sighed, and began leaving. "Priestess Fiossa it's up to you if you wish to join." The servant spoke than once his job was done headed to go leave. Fiossa watched the servant, and Gethon smiling at the exchange, but besides the love hate relationship when Gethon was asked to leave she looked at Celestra. "I rather not see Oro, after him turning me down." She laughed she didn't have a thing for him, it was merely to show she could date a man after her past relationships, though unlike Gaius she prefered the same gender still. "Plus poor Gethon would have to be alone! We can't have that." She joked, and bowed to Celestra before excusing herself.
(We can skip a hour til they are all at the table if you like xD)
(Just so we have none Valm I'll post this Brion starter, but it's up to you if you wanna reply~)
The sun was down, and moonlight lit the field as the young raven haired king stood with a large sword known as the oathkeeper. This wasn't his fathers sword as he let the blade retire. This was his own big sword, but smaller than a buster blade. The blade was sharp steel with a gold lining on the middle of the blade, and a lion shaped handle. The blade rested on the young king's shoulder as he stared down at what most would call a monster, others would call Shao Kahn the bandit king. "I, King Brion of Vulci, first of his name, the true king, and son of Yuza sentence you for death for account of deserting the army, countless murders, countless rapes, rebellion, and countless kidnapping." Brion let out, and stared right in the face of the creature who was looking at him with a smile. "Do you have any last words?" He asked raising a eyebrow. Shao laughed as the question hit his ears. "My only regret it not having fucked your mother in my earlier days." He said just to be a dick really. He than watched as Brion got the blade ready, and Shao laughed again. "Brion the king who drove the dragons away, and the downfall of Vu-" He started to add, but soon the sound of talk was replaced by the disgusting sound of a head hitting the ground, and blood spitting out of the man's neck. "Clean this up." Brion sighed handing the sword to Duncan, and walking into the castle. He had the bandit camp taken care of a few days ago, and now the last of them were gone beside the slaves, and kidnap girls. He had them in the castle for families to pick up. Heading into the ballroom which is where the girls were he stared at them from the balcony for no real reason beside to see how many more were left. "I wonder if I'm Brion the bandit slayer now." He laughed to himself he wouldn't hate the name Shao had been around since his father's reign so he finally did something important.
(Alright, I'll be as well x3 ) (Go wild with the culture~ I'm still trying to form Gethon's character so I'm not really focusing on it xD)

(I’ll respond to the one in Vulci, but I’m going to do it on my next reply as I’ve already taken too long with this one xD I’m also kind of supposed to be helping my brother with some stuff, so I should get going on that too.) (Ok, this’ll be at dinner.) The initial meeting with the Reyles had gone better than Varaela had expected, though she hadn’t said all that much and she was constantly needing to remind herself not to snap and to be very respectful. By the time dinner rolled around, however, she was really getting tired of keeping herself in check and she was worried she was going to forget to watch her mouth and ruin the whole thing during the meal. Now everyone except Celestra was seated around a large table waiting to be served. Varaela had put on the second dress which was significantly more uncomfortable from the first one, but she was doing her best to portray the confidence of the models she’s seen earlier and so far it was working for her. She found that if she just didn’t think about what she was wearing, it was that much easier. (Her dress is the red one below because I knew I would not be able to describe it. Also, I didn’t want to study back during finals xD) Then Celestra came in a few minutes late and Varaela instantly had a drop in confidence. There was no way she would ever look as stunning as the elven princess did now. When she had met Celestra earlier in the day, her hair had been a dark brown but now it was lilac colored to match the purple outfit she wore. (seen below) Celestra smiled at Varaela, but the look in her eyes made it very clear that she did not like the human girl. It wasn’t even just because she was human, though that didn’t help, but something about the way she acted made Celestra suspicious of her. Had Varaela been in Vulci in her normal clothes, she probably would have at least glared at Celestra, but here, Varaela had to play her game, so she just smiled back and pretended like she didn’t notice the obvious tension between them.
(Please excuse the terribleness of the lines and everything, I really rushed to get them done quickly. And don't even ask about Celestra's awful right foot. I don't even know xD) (Gah, they're so small you can't even see the terribleness of the lines. I don't even know how to make them bigger… boo.) (Ooh actually if you click them, you can see the bigger version.) (This is Varaela's. Not that any of this matters but if aerospace engineering doesn't work out, costume design is plan B, but the whole back is open and there is nothing beneath the slit in the front. i.e. you're seeing the back of the dress.) (Celestra. Pretty self-explanatory)
